It was time.
"SIREN was a real success,"
Chris says. "But it was time to go in a different
direction."Chris Timberlake had been in contact
with Robert Lang of SEVEN OCEANS, months before SIREN
split, looking to team up their projects for local performances.
"I was a little worried about having to tell Robert
that SIREN was no more, so there wouldn't be any gigging
to be arranged." Serendipitously, SEVEN OCEANS
was taking their own break of sorts as Robert focused
on his engineering work. The new collaboration took
off as they brought together their unique styles and
talents to create sophisticated and memorable alt/pop
songs with latin, jazz, r&b, and world influences.
Now with an exciting and lengthy song book, Bullet Proof
Soul has begun recording its first full length cd, which
will be released in January 2010.
